After a classics degree from Cambridge University, I was a teacher for several years before switching to the Law. After two years at the College of Law in Chester, I moved to Exeter where I trained in articles for two years with Stones. On qualifying as a solicitor in 1992 I moved to Crosse & Crosse and then co-founded Miln MacLeod in 2000.
Since qualifying as a solicitor I have practised exclusively in the area of separation and divorce. I have had several articles published in the specialist journal Family Law.
I am married with four children and seven grandchildren. I spend much of my spare time tending a large hillside garden which is home to my wife's extensive collection of old roses.
