An interesting article by John Bolch on the Marilyn Stowe blog.  The article concisely sketches the history of the concept of the guardianship of a child and gently points out that when some fathers’ rights types interpret Section 2(4) of the Children Act 1989  (‘The rule of law that a father is the natural guardian of his legitimate child is abolished’) as part of a conspiracy against fathers, they are wrong.
